THE PRODUCER

Château Haut Saint Clair, located in the Puisseguin-Saint-Émilion appellation, is a family-owned estate founded in the 1960s. Developed over generations, the vineyard covers a few hectares of clay-limestone soils typical of Bordeaux’s Right Bank, particularly well suited to Merlot, the estate’s main grape variety. Over time, the estate has preserved a traditional approach, with careful vineyard management and controlled yields to fully express its terroir. This family continuity and inherited know-how make Château Haut Saint Clair a true reflection of the authenticity and heritage of Bordeaux’s smaller châteaux.
