The name “Côtes de Castillon” went down in history because of a battle won against the perfidious Albion. Recently renamed Bordeaux - Côtes de Bordeaux, it is a remarkable appellation located between Saint Emilion and the Périgord. Château Robin, consisting of 8 plots of land in one piece planted on a clay-limestone hillside facing east, was taken over in 2003 by Jean and Laurence Caillé. Writings dating back to 1874 already mentioned Cru Robin. Today, the family has opted for sustainable agriculture and organic products to preserve the balance of the vineyard.
