Bernard-Massard, through its trading and import company Europe Vins, is delighted to announce the takeover of the exclusive distribution of Champagne Deutz in Luxembourg. This new chapter marks the beginning of a joint journey aimed at further developing Champagne Deutz on the Luxembourg market and introducing wine enthusiasts to its unique style and exceptional range of champagnes.
Champagne Deutz: A historic Champagne house with a unique style
Founded in 1838 in Aÿ, in the heart of the Champagne region, Champagne Deutz has been built over generations around a simple philosophy: creating elegant, precise champagnes that convey genuine emotion.
A founding member of the Syndicat des Grandes Marques since 1882, Champagne Deutz is today recognised among the most prestigious historic names in Champagne. With production representing less than 1% of the region’s total volumes, the house maintains a human scale that allows it to preserve a strong identity and dedicate particular attention to each individual cuvée.
A Champagne house committed to preserving its terroir
Because great champagne begins with exceptional grapes, Champagne Deutz places great importance on respecting and protecting its vineyards.
The house obtained the VDC (Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne) and HVE Level 3 (High Environmental Value) certifications in 2015. In 2023, it also began converting all of its owned vineyards towards organic certification.
These commitments reflect a strong ambition: preserving the unique terroirs of Champagne while continuing to create exceptional wines that respect their natural environment.
