The Chave Family has owned and farmed vineyards in Hermitage of the Northern Rhone since 1481. Beyond his emblematic Hermitages, Jean-Louis Chave produces "negociant" wines like Côte du Rhône "Mon Coeur".The 2009 vintage is based on a blend of Syrah and Grenache and shows notes of pepper along with dark fruits. Silky tannins.
