This variety originated from mutations of the Pinot Noir variety.
Medium-sized leaves with three barely distinguishable lobes and blunted serrations.
Medium-sized, rather compact bunches of slightly egg-shaped pinkish-grey grapes with medium thick skins.
Ripens fairly late.

Tasting notes:
Soft wine with plenty of body, considerable finesse, and attractive fruitiness.

Serving suggestions:
An excellent wine with seafood or white meat dishes.

Ageing:
Best within 4 years of purchase.
